Hogback Mountain Overlook and Dining HOGBACK MOUNTAIN OVERLOOK Once upon a time there was a ski area here, and you can hike up the old ski area access road for truly spectacular panoramic views and reach the Mt. Olga fire tower via this easy to moderate route. Another easy hike takes you on an old logging road behind the Skyline Restaurant. Directions and free maps are available at the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum or Hogback Mountain Gift Shop.
