A 6th generation farm that once sustained itself in the dairy business, but now has had to diversify. The Adams’ 1840s homestead has recently been transformed into an interactive farm from July through October and offers winter sleigh rides from Thanksgiving through March. The Fiber Arts Loft features 100 family - and locally made quilts, in a rainbow of colors and textures. Stop in for “Afternoon Tea on the Farm” with demos of all kinds. The farm store offers sweaters, socks, blankets, Vermont foods, maple syrup, and other farm products. Voted 2003 “Top 25 Mom’s Pick” by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce and “Editor’s Pick” by Yankee Magazine. The Adams Farm is where kids and adults experience hands-on farm activities such as picking fresh eggs from a chicken coop, milking a goat, riding on a tractor, riding ponies, exploring bear caves or just jumping in the hay.
